I don’t know what to say about Ally + Britt except they are wonderful. I’ve photographed my fair share of weddings, with some AMAZING couples. I love all of my couples. These two will forever hold a special place. I’d say that they can just take photos because they’re actors and used to being in front of cameras but that’s not it. I’ll be the first to tell you that most couples that are used to posing, over pose and don’t look like a couple in photos. These two are just together. They love each other, they’re happy and it shows. It not only showed between the two of them but the love in their families and friends. I’ve never had a friendlier, lovelier group of humans at a wedding. Everyone was just so genuine and sweet.

They’re wedding took place on the very hot day of July 10, 2022. It started out great, prep went as usual, everyone hanging out, actually relaxing and having fun. There were a few pre wedding hiccups with Britts parents unable to attend and a bridesman but they rolled with it. I may have went to the wrong park for the first look and there may have been some coffee spilled on the dress but hey, it’s a wedding, things happen! We will let nothing come in the way of a fucking awesome day. We did the first look and moved on to Hudson Lofts in Irvington, NY. I love empty spaces where the couple can put their vision fully into the space and they did just that. Minimal, happy, fun, and bright just like them. It was a beautiful Ceremony full of cameos from friends and Britt’s parents on Facetime and straight into a PARTY!!! I felt horrible pulling them away from an epic Taylor Swift dj set for a few last photos on a pretty perfect white sofa. All in All, 10 out of 10 would do again… for an anniversary!
